Monster Pit is relatively straightforward from a design perspective. The only real challenge was getting enough space to hold sleeved cards. Sleeves can increase a card deck height by 2.5x, so I had to add additional card wells in the bottom left of the insert for this design.
Plenty of room for sleeves cards was the first thing that crossed my mind too when I saw the insert pictures. Always glad when publishers are considerate of that in their insert designs, very much appreciated by the habitual sleevers (as I'm a member of that group ;) ). I really like the slots for the different dice and some of the cardboard bits too. With all the monster boards on top of them, they should stay in place quite nicely. The corner bin may see a few bits spill out, but I think that the main board may prevent that even if the game is stored on its side. All in all, I'm very happy with it! A great, functional insert always makes a game more enjoyable!.
Those wells in the insert look like they just might be deep enough to hold sleeved cards too, a common oversight by most publishers. Those pics look good
